Position Overview
The Shipping Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the shipping operations of the company. This role involves ensuring that all products are shipped efficiently, on time, and in compliance with international shipping regulations. The Shipping Manager will also implement best practices for shipping procedures and lead a team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all shipping activities and logistics operations.
• Coordinate with international carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor and optimize shipping costs and processes.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation.
• Supervise and train shipping staff to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of shipments and receipts.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of shipping processes.
• Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing departments for seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shipping Manager or in a similar shipping/logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of Epicor shipping software and international shipping regulations.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with quality control processes and inventory management.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, finished goods, and shipping documents (BOL, SLI, COFC).
• Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills.
