Drive content-led growth as a Social Media Manager (Content & Strategy) with our client in Durham, NC (On-Site). Own organic social across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms, leading content creation, campaign planning, and real-time trend execution. You’ll collaborate with CX, eCommerce, and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency, increase engagement, and support retention. Ideal for video-first creators with a strategic mindset and hands-on experience in DTC environments.
Responsibilities as the Social Media Manager:
- Content Strategy & Planning: Manage the social calendar across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, aligning brand storytelling with trends and product launches.
- Content Creation: Film, edit, and produce short-form video content using tools like CapCut, InShot, and Canva.
- Community Engagement: Respond to DMs and comments, escalate customer issues, and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Trend Integration: Monitor platform trends and creator culture to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, CX, and creative teams to support campaigns, launches, and retention efforts.
- Performance Optimization: Track content performance, analyze KPIs, and adjust strategy based on weekly insights.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-4+ years of social media experience with a DTC or CPG brand, with a proven track record of driving content-led growth.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in short-form video production using CapCut, InShot, or Canva, with familiarity in social media reporting tools preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the social media landscape, performance marketing, and how organic content drives the eCommerce funnel.
- Skills & Attributes: Creative and self-starter with strong storytelling, on-camera, and writing skills; collaborative, agile, and detail-oriented.
- Additional Experience: Familiarity with community management, working with customer experience (CX) teams, social boosting, and A/B testing for optimization preferred.
