As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail or mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate assigned areas and respond promptly to situations as they arise. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and embody our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and/or customers as needed.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site management to support the overall security-related needs of the location.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
