As the HR Specialist (Payroll) you will be responsible for adding significant value to the business by assessing and anticipating needs and communicating proactively within the HR department and leadership.
Responsibilities--Human Resources Specialist
Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion. This position may require the associate to work evenings and weekends as needed.

As the HR Specialist (Payroll) you will be responsible for adding significant value to the business by assessing and anticipating needs and communicating proactively within the HR department and leadership.
Responsibilities--Human Resources Specialist
- Administration of payroll and other human resources processes
- Investigate and provide resolution for payroll concerns
- Track and monitor approval of wage changes
- Track and monitor completion of Associate Care Program requests
- Answer unemployment claims and provide necessary documentation
- HRIS associate employment changes and general updates
- Process manual timesheet adjustments and all types of pay, PTO, timekeeping audits and employee relations
- Participate and occasionally lead HR trainings

- Required: A minimum of 3 years’ experience within Human Resources
- Required: Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts
- Required: Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner
- Required: Strong organizational and detail orientation including balancing multiple tasks
- Required: Proven ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality concerning employees, business or sensitive data
