The Thermal Ceramics division designs, manufactures and installs a broad range of thermal insulation products that significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions in a variety of high temperature processing applications. Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Quality Management: Oversee quality-related issues within manufacturing, from suppliers to customers.
- Root Cause Analysis: Identify root causes of product quality issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to AS9100 quality management systems and perform regular audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance processes, reduce defects, and implement best practices.
- Customer Support: Manage customer-specific requirements and provide technical support.
- Manage all quality-related issues, including internal, supplier, and customer concerns.
- Perform product and process audits to ensure quality standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to quality, such as scrap and rework levels.
- Assist in the training and development of team members to enhance quality awareness.
- Support new product introductions to ensure robust product builds.
- Develop and implement product test procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and lean manufacturing.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with CAD, understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-working abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze risk and identify opportunities.
- Individual must be a
