As senior project coordinator, this position provides project and software management, as well as administrative support for the communications team.


Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage project entry and project timelines in team software.
  • Serve as lead for project management software (Workfront) which entails working closely with IT to integrate technical and practical aspects of the system, developing and implementing standard processes and procedures, and training staff on how to use the system.
  • Develop and manage project entry and project timelines for the stewardship and events teams. Facilitate weekly project timeline and update meetings.
  • Assist in the scheduling and coordination of video and photography for special projects.
  • Co-lead the communications team orientation for new employees.
  • Assist with and provide support during meetings, which can include scheduling, providing detailed notes, and meeting preparation.
  • Assist with returning phone calls and emails, answering questions from a variety of sources, and helping with general requests.
  • Provide back-up support for other team members as needed.


Qualifications


Education & Work Experience

  • 7 years of work experience related to employment area. Education may be substituted for years of work experience.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be adaptable, flexible, and self-directed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
  • Must be able to handle several activities simultaneously with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines and accuracy.
  • Must adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
