Planned Parenthood Generation Action Intern at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, Inc.
Planned Parenthood Generation Action is an internship program committed to building a robust network of young organizers across Connecticut and Rhode Island who take action on their college campuses and/or communities to mobilize advocates for reproductive freedom. The internship aims to arm interns with the tools needed to create concrete change through a range of local campaigns, training, and leadership opportunities; in addition to raising public awareness about reproductive health, rights, and justice.
It is an excellent opportunity to learn about grassroots organizing, community mobilization, campaign strategy, and various forms of advocacy while also acquiring communication, event planning, and leadership skills. Young people interested in reproductive health, rights, education, and its intersections with other civil issues such as racial justice, immigration, and LGBTQ+ rights — and those pursuing a career in politics, public policy, and/or community outreach are encouraged to apply.
Planned Parenthood is committed to amplifying the voices of the next generation in the reproductive freedom movement!
