Service Valet at The CAR Group (Norm Reeves Dealerships)

Location: Covina, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Rate: $17.00/hr.

As a Service Valet, you’re one of the most important members at Norm Reeves Honda, West Covina. You are responsible for creating a great service experience for our guests and ensuring all guest vehicles are handled with excellent care. Your positivity and attention to detail are what keep our guests coming back time after time.

This is an ideal entry-level position for someone eager and motivated to begin a career in the automotive service industry. Norm Reeves believes in continuous education, promoting from within and is seeking those with a true passion for working at a dealership long term.

What You’ll Do

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location
• Controls service traffic flow and parking
• Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment
• Records customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage
• Assists service advisors when needed
• Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Place vehicle Interior Protection in each vehicle
• Tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles
• Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked
• Adhere to all customer service processes
• Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed
• Bring customers’ vehicles to the front of service drive when directed
• Ensure customers’ vehicle is free of dirt and grease from their service visit
• Guides vehicles through the car wash
• Light lifting duties when needed
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Experience driving a range of vehicles; manual transmission a plus.
