FT Pediatric CNA 7p-7a at The Goodman Group, LLC

Sabal Palms Health & Rehabilitation community is seeking a FULL-TIME PEDIATRIC OVERNIGHT (7P-7A) CNA to join our clinical team!! This candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in direct pediatric patient care as a CNA. Ideal candidate will have experience in a long-term, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation care facility & have ventilator &/or trach experience with pediatric patients.

Shifts: Full-time, 7p-7a *must be flexible for rotational weekends & holidays

Wage: $17-$21/hour, with shift differential

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in all Nursing Department functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established Nursing Department policies and procedures and assist residents with activities of daily living.

Essential Job Duties

• Provide physical support to assist residents to perform daily living activities, such as lifting, transfers, assisting with bed mobility, bathing, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, exercising, serving and assisting with meals, and taking vital signs
• Observes and documents the health, behavior, physical and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the nurse
• Responds promptly and courteously to resident call signals, signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine residents' needs
• Promotes personal safety and the safety of the residents with a clean and safe environment for residents by observing infection control practices, following facility guidelines, and reporting unsafe situation to the nurse
• Communicate with nurses on resident conditions, changes and concerns
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Provide companionship, comfort and support to residents
• Meet federal and state in-service requirements
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of direct pediatric patient care
• Ideal candidate will have experience in a long-term, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation care facility
