The Client Case Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and distributing documents aligned with client requirements for internal use. This person will also be responsible for monitoring numerous email client boxes and updating the Labor Drive Intake Form timely and accurately.
This is a remote position located in Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, DC, or Virginia.
Pursuant to Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington, DC regulation, the salary range for this position is $27.12 - $32.79 per hour and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate and timely maintenance and upkeep of assigned client(s) data within the Labor Drive database.
- Responsible for managing receipt and review of client documents; review and distribution of professional correspondence including uploading client documents for each matter to the appropriate extranet folder.
- Responsible for corresponding with appropriate agency to obtain missing charge pages, Notice of Charge documents, and related filings; Accountable for performing research and initial discovery related to new charges by utilizing Firm and Client databases and other systems to enable further processing.
- Responsible for professional and appropriate communication with all levels of client personnel, internal Littler resources, external agencies, charging parties and their representation.
- Responsible for knowledge of and ability to research additional Client systems, or outside systems, to garner information; ability to review information and discern gaps or additional data needed to meet attorney requests.
- Accountable for managing and submitting legal report requests to the Client per the Client's requested procedures based on attorney requests; including calendaring and tracking deadlines based on industry legal requirements and required deliverables.
- Responsible for appropriate brokering of client inquiries and requests to appropriate Littler resources, including attorneys, Labor management and internal corporate departments.
- Demonstrated ability to craft and follow multiple processes and protocols across several clients and data fields.
- Demonstrated ability to learn tools and techniques relating to data management, reporting and auditing.
- Demonstrated ability to perform required research, review and record search results, save and upload documents to Firm electronic libraries.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to work within multiple computer system environments simultaneously.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and follow the instruction effectively from a diverse group of Client attorneys and staff and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
- Demonstrated ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors.
- Demonstrated ability to operate standard office equipment, including personal computer, copier, typewriter, facsimile, telephone and scanner.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, web-based programs/ applications, and web-based research tools.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of applicable work experience is required. Strong administrative and communication skills required. Paralegal certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience is required.
