Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Collection Specialist! We are looking to strengthen our dynamic, growing team. Become part of an amazing team at Seen!
How you'll make an impact:
Account Receivable Management:
- Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and implement strategies to facilitate the timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Conduct thorough account reviews to identify the root cause of delinquency and develop customized solutions for each customer.
- Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize losses and improve overall collections performance.
- Utilize data analysis and reporting to identify trends, assess risk, and optimize collections workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance efficiency in the collections process.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to address payment concerns and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate the resolution of delinquent accounts and promote customer retention.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to collections practices.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and update account information in the system.
- Generate regular reports on collections performance, delinquency trends, and account statuses for management review.
- High School diploma
- 6+ months of previous collections experience required.
- Knowledge of collections practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive customer interactions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Advanced English (B2+) across the board, bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a commitment to achieving collections targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
- Previous credit card collections experience preferred.
