Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst II to join our dynamic data and reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for report and analytics migration, evolving reporting and analysis, with a focus on Power BI, Snowflake data engineering, and real-time data integration. You will work closely with business users and internal teams to ensure data reliability, platform modernization, and user enablement.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst II to join our dynamic data and reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for report and analytics migration, evolving reporting and analysis, with a focus on Power BI, Snowflake data engineering, and real-time data integration. You will work closely with business users and internal teams to ensure data reliability, platform modernization, and user enablement.

- Actively being part of team migrating the Business Objects Reports and Tableau dashboards to Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Applies best practices in developing reports, dashboards in Power BI, Business Objects and Tableau.
- Learn and understand a broad range of Brightstar’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
- Provides technical support, training and guidance to business users, facilitating migration from current reporting system to Power BI and snowflake stack.
- Develops and maintains Snowflake data engineering solutions to support scalable, secure, and high-performance reporting environments.
- Report key insight trends, using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the larger team of noteworthy story lines that impact the business.
- Build automated data solutions and dashboards, maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources.
- Able to convert the proof-of-concept code and modules into production deployable code using functional, object-oriented programming.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in enterprise reporting, data engineering, or software development.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, including dataset management, dashboard development, and workspace administration.
- Proven experience with Snowflake data engineering, including data modeling, pipeline development, and performance tuning.
- Strong expertise in SQL & Python.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bonus: Experience using AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate dashboard creation, automate data validation, or enhance report quality.
- Exposure to machine learning workflows or AI model integration is a plus.
- Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and Fabric Event Streams.
- Snowflake SQL, Streams, Tasks, and Data Sharing.
- SQL and Python.
- CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and DevOps practices.
