Distribution Center Receiver- Unloaders at Living Spaces Furniture

Position Summary

Inbound or Outbound loading and unloading of furniture for deliveries, and staging product using hands dollies, or pallet jacks in the warehouse.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Support the Inbound / Outbound operation
• Receive shipments, check for damages and sort stock for distribution in the store
• Validate the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments
• Communicate and report overages, shortages, and damages
• Communicate with internal business partners on product status
• Keep up with the movement of merchandise
• Unload trailers with hand dollies
• Moving furniture with dollies and pallet jacks
• Use radio frequency equipment to communicate with the team and leaders
• Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards
• Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Maintains a clean work area, free from debris on warehouse floor
• Meet company standards for productivity
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  
  

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. One year of experience in in distribution or supply chain. Working knowledge of OSHA standards. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.10

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
