Network/Infrastructure Engineer – Edison, NJ and unanticipated sites throughout US

Description

• Responsible for design, assembly, and troubleshooting technology solutions related to the infrastructure (network, telecommunication, database, desktop server, storage, software).
• Define, develop, and maintain procedures; analyze and implement new processes and techniques.
• Analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation.
• Design tailored solutions to meet a specific need or business unit request.
• Provide effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue.
• Lead medium to large-scale projects and deliver presentations.
• Anticipate problems, drive root cause analysis and analyze ways to mitigate risk.
• Solve complex situations by dissecting problems and focusing on critical technology tasks.
• Recommend process improvements that require a high degree of technical mastery.
• Act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) and consult peers and colleagues on tactical problems.
• Articulate business value and impact of technical and non-technical information.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or Digital Sciences.
• 6 months experience in job offered or 6 months experience as Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer or related occupation.
