Job Purpose

The Driver is responsible for ensuring safe transporting, delivering, and installing equipment at customer sites. This role will support warehouse operations by assisting with inventory management, staging equipment, loading/unloading, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Safely deliver, unload, and install copiers and related equipment at customer sites.
• Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy.
• Load, secure, and transport equipment to prevent damage during delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery, inventory, and delivery pickup.
• Assist with warehouse duties including inventory control, staging, and equipment.
• Keep warehouse and delivery areas clean and organized.
• Perform other activities that support Milner and our Sales/Service organization.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• A minimum of one to two years as a driver/delivery person.
• Skilled in driving 15–20-foot trucks with lift gate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, occasionally in urgent situations.
  
  

Working Conditions

• Requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping.
• May require occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Exposure to heat, cold, and fumes in open warehouse.
