Brief Description

The City of Sterling Heights is seeking Splash Pad Monitors & Splash Pad Attendants for the Dodge Park Splash Pad in Summer 2026! Please see below for responsibilities and requirements.

Splash Pad Attendant (Beginning pay rate: $13.50 to $15.00/hr.)

This position conducts splash pad supervision and prepares the splash pad area for daily use as assigned by the Lead Splash Pad Attendant.

• Daily preparation of the splash pad for patron use.
• Checking patrons in and out of the splash pad.
• Collecting non-resident fees.
• Cleanup of the splash pad area, including litter and garbage removal.
• Enforcing splash pad rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Attendant Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver license.
• Must pass background check and complete CPR, First Aid, and Concussion training.
  

Splash Pad Monitor (Beginning pay rate: $14.50 to $16.00/hr.)

This position is responsible for assisting the Lead Splash Pad Attendant to prepare the Splash Pad area for the demands of the patrons, daily supervision of Splash Pad Attendants, completing daily Splash Pad reports, and enforcing Splash Pad rules.

• Supervision and leadership of Splash Pad Attendants.
• Following directions and assignments.
• Assuming the role of the Lead Splash Pad Attendant in their absence.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Monitor Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must pass background check and complete CPR, First Aid, and Concussion training.
