Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems for various project types
- Lead and manage mechanical aspects of design projects
- Ensure project quality, accuracy, and adherence to codes and standards
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other cross-functional teams
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout project phases
- Support research and development efforts for innovative mechanical solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems
- Proficiency with CAD tools and design software
- Experience in project management including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ability to conduct R&D and propose innovative mechanical design solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations (preferred)
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection system design (a plus)
