Youth Program Coordinator at STEM Paths Innovation Network (SPIN)
The SPIN Fellows Program Coordinator (0.5 FTE) supports the operational and communication functions of the Fellows program. The Coordinator’s responsibilities focus on logistics, communication, data entry, and on-site facilitation.
About STEM Paths Innovation Network
SPIN creates STEM opportunities for communities of color through high quality programming that engages families, uplifts communities, and empowers students. King County is a STEM rich economy, yet South King County faces significant gaps in STEM jobs, training, and education. This area is home to many of our region’s most diverse communities and is at the highest risk of displacement. It is also SPIN’s home base and primary focus, although we serve students in multiple school districts across King County. We are committed to expanding equitable access to opportunity and increasing diversity in the STEM field through community led education and training.
ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND
SPIN is a nonprofit closing opportunity gaps in STEM education and careers for women and BIPOC communities. The SPIN Fellows program supports 11th–12th grade youth in college readiness, post-secondary planning, internship exploration, and career development.
