The Procurement Manager will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier sourcing and vendor relationship management, to ensure an efficient and cost-effective supply chain. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aimed at optimizing costs and improving overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Identify , assess, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with ethical and sustainability standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing, payment conditions, and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement activities with organizational objectives .
  • Conduct market research and analysis to remain informed on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing fluctuations.
  • Manage supplier relationships through ongoing performance evaluations, issue resolution, and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Continuous personnel development.
  • Other assignments as needed .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/ Business /Supply Chain or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant procurement, planning , and purchasing experience with a track record of increasing responsibility.
  • Results driven, highly motivated individual with strong hands-on technical aptitude and demonstrated ability to excel in a high-performance team-oriented production environment.
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in continuous improvement and change management resulting in improved performance, efficiency, cost management, profits, quality, safety, and employee morale.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and deal with pressure form a fast paced, dynamic daily production schedule.
  • Ability to report, analyze, and interpret financial and operating data/variances: skilled at developing and implementing countermeasures, where applicable.
  • A strategic thinker with strong planning/tactical skills, sense of urgency, focus on measurable results and ability to get things done.
  • Ability to assess operational performance, develop, recommend and implement corrective action programs, make decisions, and document process and results.
  • Strong understanding, commitment, and proven track record in meeting safety and environmental requirements/regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
