The Procurement Manager will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier sourcing and vendor relationship management, to ensure an efficient and cost-effective supply chain. - Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aimed at optimizing costs and improving overall supply chain efficiency.
- Identify , assess, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with ethical and sustainability standards.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing, payment conditions, and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement activities with organizational objectives .
- Conduct market research and analysis to remain informed on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing fluctuations.
- Manage supplier relationships through ongoing performance evaluations, issue resolution, and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses.
- Continuous personnel development.
- Other assignments as needed .
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/ Business /Supply Chain or a related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant procurement, planning , and purchasing experience with a track record of increasing responsibility.
- Results driven, highly motivated individual with strong hands-on technical aptitude and demonstrated ability to excel in a high-performance team-oriented production environment.
- Demonstrated record of excellence in continuous improvement and change management resulting in improved performance, efficiency, cost management, profits, quality, safety, and employee morale.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and deal with pressure form a fast paced, dynamic daily production schedule.
- Ability to report, analyze, and interpret financial and operating data/variances: skilled at developing and implementing countermeasures, where applicable.
- A strategic thinker with strong planning/tactical skills, sense of urgency, focus on measurable results and ability to get things done.
- Ability to assess operational performance, develop, recommend and implement corrective action programs, make decisions, and document process and results.
- Strong understanding, commitment, and proven track record in meeting safety and environmental requirements/regulations.
