Downstream Production Manager – Peptide Manufacturing

Location: Onsite - Torrance, CA | Employment Type: Full-Time

Lead the critical final steps of peptide manufacturing! We’re seeking a Downstream Production Manager to oversee GMP operations focused on purification, chromatography, concentration, lyophilization, and final API handling. This strategic leadership role ensures safety, compliance, and efficiency while driving continuous improvement and capacity planning.

What You’ll Do

• Direct downstream production teams and workflows.
• Develop and manage production schedules for purification and lyophilization.
• Implement process improvements and Lean principles to optimize yield and throughput.
• Ensure GMP compliance and accurate documentation.
• Foster a strong safety culture and lead workforce development.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• 5+ years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing; peptide experience strongly preferred.
• Expertise in purification, chromatography, and lyophilization under GMP.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
