SUMMARY: The Marketing & Fan Engagement Coordinator – Boom will play a vital role in growing the Noblesville Boom brand and creating unforgettable experiences for fans. This entry-level position is perfect for a passionate marketer who thrives on community engagement, event activation, and building excitement around a professional basketball team.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support marketing activations for the Noblesville Boom, ensuring brand presence at the Arena at Innovation Mile and throughout the greater Noblesville community.
  • Drive fan engagement initiatives that build loyalty and excitement, including community events, game-day activations, and grassroots marketing efforts.
  • Manage giveaway programs, including ordering and coordinating distribution of promotional items.
  • Lead and schedule part-time brand ambassadors for tabling events and game nights, ensuring they represent the Boom brand with energy and professionalism.
  • Create memorable fan experiences by planning and executing fun, interactive moments during games and events.
  • Coordinate concourse entertainment, such as DJs, live bands, balloon artists, caricature artists, and other performers to enhance the game-day atmosphere.
  • Assist with event setup and tear down, ensuring all activations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Transport marketing materials to and from events as needed.
  • Track and report marketing activations and fan engagement metrics to internal teams, demonstrating impact and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, event management, or fan/community engagement.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing part-time staff and engaging with fans.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering unique and exciting fan experiences.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for games and events.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for event support.
  • Passion for basketball and community engagement.

Education And/Or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, and at least 2 years of fan/community engagement or marketing experience. Experience with sports or live events is preferred but not required.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports. Ability to write reports and correspondence with extremely high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers, Clients, Customers, and the general public. Ability to communicate and sell ideas to peers and executives. Ability to create and deliver presentations to all levels of employees and upper management.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to apply mathematical operations to develop ROI analyses and present reports.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make recommendations.

Problem Solving Requirements

Must be able, through creative, logical and technical means, to see projects through to completion.
