We are seeking an exceptional International Trade and Event Marketing Director to join our dynamic team! This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about International, driving box office success and increasing our film slate awareness through innovative, genuine, and unforgettable consumer and B2B experiences.
The Director will lead the development, planning, and execution of international trade initiatives including in-cinema experiences and best in class B2B and consumer events.
As the need for experiential marketing grows, we are looking for an innovative thinker who can create disruptive and effective marketing statements across multiple consumer touchpoints.
Responsibilities will include strategic and creative direction, meticulous logistical planning, internal cross-divisional alignment, overseeing budgets, briefing and managing our trusted agency partners, and providing onsite management during major international consumer and B2B events.
The individual stepping into this role will work closely with the International EVP, department manager, and home office marketing team. Additionally, they will collaborate with our territories, distribution teams, external agencies, and global cross-functional groups to create cultural event experiences that resonate worldwide.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in delivering high-impact events and who possesses the creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to elevate our international presence amongst our competitors, and deeply passionate about international.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the EVP and our department manager to ensure our priorities, projects, and plans align with international home office goals and the specific needs of our territories
- Event Management: Oversee events from start to finish, including budget management, strategic and creative execution, logistics, décor, talent and filmmaker approvals, and interdepartmental communication
- Trade Marketing Campaigns: Create and produce innovative trade marketing campaigns with regional leads and territories, from creative development to execution, designed to drive awareness and enhance box office performance
- Trade Show Management: Partner with creative services on trade events, manage territory requests, approve content, and build impactful presentations
- Experiential Marketing: Spear innovative and disruptive activations across portfolio of titles that build excitement and talkability
- Professional Interaction: Maintain effective and professional interactions with all levels of our global organization, upholding company values, policies, and standards
- Bachelor’s degree required in marketing
- 2+ years of relevant experience in International Marketing
- International travel will be required
- Ability to work non-traditional hours as many events occur in the evening and/or on weekends

- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion
- Comfortability to make decisions and recommendations without having all details finalized
- Strong written and verbal communication and creative presentation skills a must
- Keynote and PPT skills are required
- Some travel is required
- Genuine love of all kinds of film and pop culture is a plus
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
