Children’s Specialized ABA is designed to address the comprehensive needs of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). By leveraging the expertise of the Children’s Specialized Hospital Autism Center of Excellence, the program aims to expand access to innovative and compassionate care, empowering children diagnosed with autism to thrive. Children’s Specialized ABA offers home-based, community-based, and center-based ABA therapy.

The Family Faculty supports Children’s Specialized ABA families by sharing lived experience with ABA therapy, assisting with intake and communication, and encouraging consistent participation in therapy. This role collaborates with clinical and operational teams, contributes to staff training and f amily resources, and helps improve the overall family experience in alignment with the company values.

Here’s What You Can Expect
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and experience equity.

The Family Faculty supports Children’s Specialized ABA families by sharing lived experience with ABA therapy, assisting with intake and communication, and encouraging consistent participation in therapy. This role collaborates with clinical and operational teams, contributes to staff training and f amily resources, and helps improve the overall family experience in alignment with the company values.
What You'll Do
- Assist families with intake paperwork .
- Reach out to families who cancel frequently and explain importance of consistent therapy .
- Provide input to Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training for in home therapy .
- Create a quarterly family newsletter .
- Work with local clinical and operational leaders to better understand and improve the experience of families.
- Act as a resource for patients, families & staff in additional capacities to be jointly defined with Children’s Specialized ABA leaders.
- Current or former patient family member of Children’s Specialized ABA – Parent, Grandparent, Aunt, Uncle, Guardian, Sibling, or other.
- Familiarity with ABA therapy and patient/caregiver experience.
- A positive approach.
- Enthusiasm about Children’s Specialized ABA’s mission.
- Ability to work in partnership with others whose background, experience and styles may be very different from your own.
- Ability to share experiences constructively.
