Job Summary

The Laundry Aide performs daily laundry and light housekeeping duties to ensure clean, safe, and sanitary linens and clothing for residents in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and linens
• Label and track resident personal items
• Operate and clean washers, dryers, and laundry equipment
• Maintain clean laundry rooms, carts, and storage areas
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Assist housekeeping duties as needed
• Communicate with nursing and other departments regarding laundry needs
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Laundry, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to follow schedules, safety procedures, and instructions
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  
  
  

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, team-based setting
• Requires standing, lifting, bending, and pushing carts
