Job Summary: Certified Nurse Assistant performs routine clinical tasks such as vital sign monitoring, personal care assistance, and patient observation, promptly reporting changes in condition to the healthcare team. The position also assists with minor and routine care activities under clinical supervision and maintains a clean, safe, and well-stocked patient care environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree/Education: Completion of a certified nursing assistant program
  • Certifications: Possess and maintain certification as a certified nursing assistant
  • Experience: One year of nursing experience as a CNA post-graduation

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide age-specific care based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) applicable to the inpatient wards and specific health care provider’s orders; the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient; and the policies and procedures
  • Perform vital sign checks, note deviations, report to team leader, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Provide for the safety, hygiene, personal care, activities of daily living, exercise, turning and repositioning and transporting of patients.
  • Clean and restock supply closets and patient rooms with supplies and linens, dispose of trash and soiled linen, supplies, and equipment.
  • Observe patients for distress or changes in condition and report abnormalities to team leader or other nursing/medical personnel.
  • Assist with minor, acute, and routine primary care tasks in the inpatient setting in accordance with SOPs and training rendered under the supervision of a physician, nurse, nurse practitioner or other assigned personnel
  • Floats within inpatient and outpatient settings within scope of experience to assist with duties stated for patients that require behavioral health needs, line of sight supervision or one on one chaperone.

Work Environment & Schedule: Sunday to Saturday 4,8- or 12-hour shifts, Maximum 40 hours per week.

Compensation & Benefits: Up to $26.30 + H&W
