Job Summary

The HR Recruiter, reports to the Director of Human Resources. The position is a subject matter expert for all functions within the operations of talent acquisition for the organization including but not limited to sourcing and networking for candidates, interviewing, & all onboarding processes. Provides support for all functions of the Human Resources Department and is the first point of contact for the department.

Duties And Essential Job Functions

  • Serves as the first point of contact for the Human Resources Department. Address employee and manager inquires promptly.
  • Build and foster professional relationships with leadership to understand hiring needs, forecast, and recruiting priorities.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges and other networks.
  • Develop relationships and maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
  • Attends job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.
  • Utilize and maximize social media platforms to improve candidate engagement and recruiting results.
  • Develop and maintain an active candidate pool of talent by sourcing both active and passive candidates for hard to fill clinical positions, business support and leadership positions.
  • Possess strong interviewing skills that can identify the necessary professional attributes in an applicant to qualify or disqualify them as a candidate.
  • Maintain recruitment matrix and recruitment activity calendar.
  • Post and maintain the applicant tracking system/career section of our website.
  • Write and place job advertising in various media.
  • Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Onboards new hires - submits background, pre-employment drug screens, offer letters. Once cleared for hire oversees the completion of employee new hire forms (both electronic and paper formats)
  • Responsible for ordering name badges and overseeing uniforms.
  • Review and submit vendor invoices for name badges, uniforms, pre-employment drug screes, and uniforms.
  • Track employee referrals and submit them for payment.
  • Responsible for conducting new hire orientation.
  • Off-board employees leaving the organization by reviewing the exit packet and providing them access to the exit survey link.
  • Process terminations in HRIS and send internal notifications.
  • Manages the exit survey results by compiling results into reports that are maintained monthly.
  • Assist in light employee relations.
  • Completed employment verifications.
  • Maintain employee human resources files.
  • Compose and send communications letters.
  • Assist and lead various human resources projects.
  • Maintains a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to have a high focus on attention to detail, able to manage multiple competing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills are required.
  • Successfully working collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Must be a self-starter, energetic, and can work independently with little supervision.
  • Must have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype)
  • Previous work experience using various operating systems; preferably, using applicant tracking systems and human resources operating systems.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Human Resources or related field.
  • Previous Recruitment and Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and regulations.

Required Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
