Position Overview

NetApp is seeking a forward-thinking, collaborative, and results-driven Director of Operations Finance to lead financial strategy and operations within the organization. This critical role emphasizes ownership, innovation, and partnership across teams to drive business outcomes. The Opportunity

As Director of Operations Finance, you will lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for our operations organization and serve as the finance partner for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). You will help shape decisions that drive efficiency, scalability, and customer value across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead S&OP from a finance perspective, integrating demand, supply, and financial plans
  • Oversee FP&A for operations, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting
  • Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, manufacturing, and business leaders to inform decisions
  • Translate data into actionable insights that drive performance and customer outcomes
  • Build scalable financial models to support growth and operational excellence
  • Champion continuous improvement, automation, and simplification of financial processes
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing, inclusive finance team

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience in financial leadership, operations, or strategy roles (typically 12+ years)
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools)

The target salary range for this position is 196,350 - 280,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
