Technical Support Engineer at Haystack

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Maintain and execute a network of simulators and modeling capabilities for military training.
• Perform day-to-day operational checks and preventative maintenance on simulation systems.
• Support training in live, virtual, and constructive environments.
• Develop configuration management processes for geographically separated systems.
• Operate virtual environments to facilitate large-scale training exercises.
• Identify and track deficiencies to improve system functionality.

What You'll Need

• Experience with complex networked distributed systems and Microsoft Windows/Linux OS.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic network and operating system issues.
• Experience supporting and collaborating with DoD operational personnel.
• Ability to create technical documentation and travel up to 50% of the time.
• TS/SCI clearance and Security+ Certification.
• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of Tier 1 Technical Support experience, or 5+ years equivalent experience.
