Job Title: Supply Chain Associate

The Supply Chain Associate supports efficient procurement and vendor management by maintaining accurate vendor records, processing administrative tasks, and providing first-line system support to internal stakeholders and external supplier partners. This role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity within supply chain systems, supporting tactical procurement activities, and helping employees use supply chain tools effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain vendor master files and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for all suppliers.
  • Process general administrative tasks as directed to support supply chain and procurement operations.
  • Administer the Vendor Master Inbox by quickly processing requests, resolving issues, and responding to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Set up new vendors in the system and update existing vendor details, including addresses, contact information, and other critical data.
  • Support tactical procurement and business operations by preparing and delivering reports related to vendor data and supply chain activities.
  • Provide first-line system support to external supplier partners for data-related issues, helping to resolve problems and maintain data quality.
  • Educate employees on the use of supply chain systems and tools, including creating clear training materials and documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Experience working in supply chain or a related function.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems used in supply chain or vendor management environments.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including the ability to work effectively with Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain, business, or a related field.
  • Accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and maintain vendor master data and records.
  • Capability to respond promptly and professionally to stakeholder inquiries and vendor requests.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external suppliers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in supply chain or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Prior experience in supply chain operations, vendor management, or procurement support is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with creating training materials and user guides for systems and processes.
  • Comfort working with large data sets and generating reports using Excel and other tools.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office-based environment that relies heavily on digital tools and systems to manage supply chain and vendor information. You will work extensively with ERP platforms, Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel—and email to administer the Vendor Master Inbox and support both internal stakeholders and external supplier partners. The position typically follows standard business hours, with periods of higher activity when processing vendor requests, updating records, or supporting procurement initiatives. The work involves a combination of independent, detail-oriented tasks and collaborative interactions with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
