About the Role In this role you will be theleader for multiple internal and external functions of operations andmaintenance and ensure a safe working environment for a large fulfillmentcenter facility. The SMM serves asthe Site leader for the CBRE teamand is responsible for all aspects of performance, as wellas client relationships. They lead the execution of the overall preventivemaintenance process, monitor compliance to the metrics daily, andguide their team to provide immediate resolution to equipment downtime. What You’ll Do
Maintain asafety-first culture in which CBRE employees return home in the same conditionin which they reported to work.
Provide leadershipto a team of Maintenance and Area Maintenance Managers.
Develop andimplement reliability plans that support increasing the uptime of thefacility.
Ensure compliancewith standard process and procedures; trains, commissions equipment, collects,measures, and analyzes key performance indicators to improve processes andenhance customer’s experience.
Lead vendorrelationships to ensure sites are receiving world class service.
Provide monitoring,auditing, and implementation of maintenance execution, and institutes andaudits training drills across the network.
Maintainaccountability for budgets, capital planning and contract documents includingRFPs, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing.
Partners with TalentAcquisition to recruit, interview, and hire bar raising talent for siteleadership roles.
Lead/Support theperformance of employees through mentoring and skill development to improvework performance and develop employee potential.
Participate incorporate-sponsored programs & activities as required, includingincident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
Monitor appropriatestaffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of humanresources.
Cultivate positiveworking relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance teammembers. What You’ll Need
Bachelor's (BA/BS)degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil)required.
7+ years’ experienceleading and coaching employee performance in a manufacturing or maintenanceenvironment. Must include experience in supervising hourly and salariedemployees.
4+ years' experienceworking directly with the maintenance and upkeep of manufacturingequipment.
Excellentcommunication, presentation, problem solving and analyticalskills.
Advanced knowledgeof financial terms and principles, as well as financialreporting, forecasting and budgeting
Proficient MicrosoftOffice Suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Expert levelanalytical and quantitative skills with experience in developing strategicsolutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry salesenvironment.
Ability to read andinterpret drawings, blueprints, and/or schematics.
Knowledge ofmaterials, methods, and tools used to perform maintenance and repair ofmanufacturing equipment.
Understandingof predictive maintenance technologies such as thermography, vibrationanalysis, and air borne ultra-sound.
Must have anunderstanding of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electricaland mechanical equipment.
Ability to traveloff-site as needed.
Physicalrequirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / laddersand ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. CBRE Employee Benefits
