This is not a traditional engineering role. We're looking for a builder, strategist, and operator who can transform executive vision into deployed solutions. You will work directly with company leadership to architect and launch AI-powered systems that improve decision-making, accountability, operational efficiency, and business intelligence across one of Southern California's leading home services organizations.

If you're passionate about AI, automation, agentic workflows, and building impactful products from the ground up, this is an opportunity to drive real organizational change while operating at the highest level of leadership.

Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Innovation

  • Partner directly with executive leadership to identify high-impact AI and automation opportunities.
  • Translate business objectives into technical roadmaps, product requirements, and implementation plans.
  • Design and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance operational performance and decision-making.

System Architecture & Development

  • Build and maintain scalable applications, APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Develop integrations across critical business platforms including ERP, accounting, CRM, and operational systems.
  • Create secure and efficient architectures that support company growth.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Develop executive reporting systems that consolidate operational and financial KPIs.
  • Build AI-powered analysis tools capable of answering complex business questions using company data.
  • Create automated anomaly detection and operational monitoring systems.

Meeting & Accountability Systems

  • Design workflows that process meeting recordings, generate summaries, track commitments, and maintain accountability logs.
  • Implement automated follow-up and reporting mechanisms for leadership teams.

Product Ownership

  • Lead projects from concept through deployment.
  • Create documentation, technical specifications, and architectural designs.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.

Deployment & Operations

  • Manage deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and application performance.
  • Monitor system health, reliability, and security.
  • Continuously improve existing tools and workflows.

Requirements

Must Have

  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Experience designing and building production-grade applications and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, or similar AI-assisted coding environments.
  • Experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, or comparable AI APIs.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database architecture.
  • Experience integrating third-party systems through APIs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects from ideation to deployment.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential business, financial, and personnel information.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, or other agentic AI frameworks.
  • Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, ServiceTitan, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Background in business intelligence, analytics, or executive reporting systems.
  • Experience building transcription, summarization, or meeting intelligence workflows.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Previous experience working directly with founders, executives, or leadership teams.
