Location: Samsung Semiconductor Plant, Taylor, Texas
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM start time
Doota Industrial America is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure operations at the Samsung Semiconductor Plant in Taylor, Texas. The ideal candidate will assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of data center equipment, cabling systems, and network infrastructure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and support data center infrastructure, including servers, racks, cabinets, and network equipment.
- Perform structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber optic cabling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connectivity, and cabling issues.
- Assist with equipment installations, rack-and-stack activities, and device commissioning.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and network documentation.
- Label, document, and maintain accurate records of equipment and cabling.
- Follow all safety procedures, site requirements, and OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of data center systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Fiber optic termination, testing, and splicing experience is a plus.

Requirements
- OSHA 10 Certification required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience working in a data center, telecommunications, low-voltage, or industrial environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure, cabling standards, and data center operations.
- Experience with copper and fiber optic cabling installations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
Skills And Physical Requirements
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with hand and power tools.
- Must be organized, analytical, and capable of following detailed procedures.
- Must be able to endure prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding.
- Must be able to work in active construction and industrial environments.
- Must possess the physical ability to pull cables, install equipment, and perform rack-and-stack activities.
- Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and elevated areas when required.
