Essential Functions for the Position

Individual to perform semi skilled routine and repetitive tasks of safely cleaning and servicing company vehicles; perform second level maintenance on all company vehicles, revenue as well as non revenue.

Special Knowledge & Skills

1. Strong mechanical aptitude with preference relating to transit type operations. Knowledgeable in fueling, servicing and cleaning of transit vehicles.

2. Must be familiar with current safety equipment and procedures.

Education, Training & Experience:

1. Must be high school or trade school graduate.

2. Transit servicing experience preferred, with background in gasoline and/or diesel operated vehicles.

Other Job Requirement & Conditions

1. Must have excellent work performance and attendance records.

2. Must have valid Hawaii State driver's license with clean traffic abstract (a current traffic abstract must be presented at time of interview) and must be able to pass State of Hawaii D.O.T. driving requirements for a "Type B" commercial driver's license.

3. Must pass Company administered written examination.

4. Must be able to meet standard physical requirements and pass Company sponsored medical examination and drug screening.

5. Must be willing and able to work various shifts, overtime as, holiday duty as, and days off as assigned.
