Scoot Education partners with public, charter, private, independent, and faith-based institutions across the area for their staffing needs. We have opportunities for experienced individuals eager to fill the critical role of a School Psychologist in schools across San Francisco Bay Area.

Pay Range: Up To $115/hour, Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Qualifications

• Basic Skills Requirement (see https://teachinla.co/BSR for details).
• A minimum of a Master’s degree from an -accredited institution of higher education.
• Hold a California Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing services as a School Psychologist.

What you’ll do

• Conduct and interpret psychological tests and evaluations.
• Determine students’ disability eligibility according to CA Education codes.
• Present findings from tests and evaluations during initial or triennial IEP meetings.
• Build rapport and therapeutic relationships with students - providing individual counseling to support progress toward social, emotional, behavioral, and academic goals.
• Collaborate with IEP team members and give feedback to determine and refine students’ goals.
• Work closely with Teachers and support staff within both general education and special education settings.
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
