Position Summary
The Clinic Director / Physical Therapist is responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinic operations while maintaining a patient caseload. This role blends clinical excellence with people leadership, operational oversight, and community engagement to drive strong outcomes for patients, team members, and the business.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee clinical and operational performance of the clinic to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction
Lead, mentor, and develop physical therapists and support staff, fostering a positive and accountable culture
Ensure compliance with regulatory, payer, and professional standards of care
Monitor patient outcomes and clinic metrics, implementing improvements as needed
Provide patient evaluations and hands-on treatment as needed, modeling best clinical practices
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, physicians, and community partners
Manage clinic budgets and productivity to achieve financial and operational goals
Review and analyze performance reports including outcomes, visits, and team productivity
Partner with marketing and operations teams to support growth and community outreach
Stay current with clinical best practices and integrate evidence-based methods into clinic care
Qualifications

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
Current Arizona PT license or eligibility for licensure
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
Understanding of healthcare compliance and documentation standards
Preferred Experience

Outpatient orthopedic clinical experience
Prior leadership, supervisory, or mentorship experience preferred
Experience improving clinic performance, patient outcomes, and team engagement
Comfort with EMR systems and basic operational reporting
