Position Overview

The Designer, Social & Performance Marketing is responsible for creating high-performing creative across Medical Guardian’s paid and organic social channels. This role develops platform-native content that supports customer acquisition, while also driving engagement, education, and brand loyalty through organic social media.

You’ll design across the full marketing funnel—from awareness through conversion—adapting messaging and creative approach based on audience, platform, and objective. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Design & Digital Production and partners closely with members of the growth and brand teams to support testing, iteration, and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Paid & Organic Social Creative

  • Design and deliver performance-driven creative across paid channels (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, etc) that supports awareness, consideration, and conversion objectives.
  • Develop engaging organic social content that aligns with brand voice and drives audience engagement (static, motion, and short-form video).
  • Produce a high volume of creative variations tailored to different funnel stages, audience segments, and platform requirements.
  • Adapt creative to platform-specific best practices across both paid and organic environments.
  • Translate acquisition strategy, audience insights, and funnel-stage objectives into clear, compelling design solutions.
  • Optimize creative using performance data and engagement metrics to improve results across all channels.

2. Performance-Focused Design Systems

  • Build and maintain modular performance marketing design systems that enable rapid iteration across multiple funnel stages.
  • Adapt brand guidelines to support both brand-forward upper-funnel creative and direct-response lower-funnel execution.
  • Ensure creative is scalable, reusable, and optimized for ongoing content production.
  • Retouch imagery, edit video, and perform visual enhancements to deliver polished assets.

3. Brand Alignment & Quality Control

  • Ensure all paid and organic creative aligns with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and quality expectations.
  • Execute designs that align with briefs, business objectives, and funnel-specific performance goals.
  • Participate in creative reviews and QA to ensure accuracy and consistency.

4. Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner closely with growth, creative, and brand teams to align on campaign objectives, content calendars, and deliverables.
  • Present creative work clearly with rationale and iterate quickly based on feedback and performance insights.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and versioning across multiple campaigns and social channels.
  • Support external partners or content creators as needed.

5. Marketing Creative

  • Develop creative assets for landing pages, email, and partner marketing initiatives.
  • Support creative for in-house and external print initiatives, such as event materials, pitch decks, and healthcare marketing assets.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Medical Guardian’s visual identity across all touchpoints.

6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay current on platform updates and emerging features.
  • Apply learnings from testing and performance analysis to refine creative approaches.
  • Explore emerging tools, including AI-assisted creative workflows, to improve speed and variation.
  • Contribute to a culture of performance-driven creative thinking.
