Key Responsibilities
Drive Learning & Professional Development
- Facilitate & Deliver: Lead engaging learning sessions and utilize presentation tools (like PowerPoint) to make training stick.
- Innovative Instruction: Help identify and deploy modern learning methods, including distance learning, video streaming, and hands-on workshops.
- Assess & Evaluate: Administer creative evaluation tools (like card sorts and management surveys) to track program success and identify skill gaps across the agency.
Support Strategic Workforce Planning
- Future-Proofing ODH: Assist with high-level initiatives like succession planning, competency mapping, and onboarding for critical agency roles.
- Data & Analytics: Track activities within our Learning Management System (LMS) and compile quarterly and annual reports on employee progress.
Build Partnerships & Stay Current
- Continuous Learning: Attend seminars, conferences, and training sessions to stay on top of the latest trends in organizational development.
- Collaborate: Network and establish educational partnerships with universities, the Department of Administrative Services, and other state agencies.

Qualifications

2 yrs. exp. in human resources.
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration.
- Or 1 yr. exp. as Human Capital Management Associate, 64611.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

EDUCATIONAL TRANSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS
Official education transcripts are required for all post-high school educational accomplishments, coursework or degrees claimed on the application. Failure to provide transcripts within five (5) working days of being requested will cause the applicant to be eliminated from further consideration.

ALL ANSWERS TO THE SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUPPORTED BY THE WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PROVIDED ON YOUR CIVIL SERVICE APPLICATION.
Unless required by legislation, the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 10 Step 1 of the exempt Pay Range Schedule ($27.73 per hour), with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($29.25) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
