Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to join our team at Aviata at Santa Barbara! As an HRG, you will provide strategic support to our care centers by leading and managing HR departments, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead HR departments for multiple care centers, providing ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to facility management and team members
- Regularly direct and oversee the work of full-time employees within the care centers
- Assist department heads with recruitment, hiring, and providing orientation and training for staff
- Design and implement care center recruitment and retention programs
- Evaluate candidates and make significant recommendations on hiring
- Develop and lead employee recognition and engagement programs and initiatives across multiple care centers
- Maintain and guide the implementation of facility HR policies and procedures in compliance with corporate, state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, and Organization Development required
- SPHR or PHR preferred
- Minimum of four (4) years of related experience in Human Resources required
- You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
