What You Will Contribute
The Logistics Analyst helps oversee and monitor the movement of goods from origin to consumption, ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing data to improve logistics efficiency, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing optimization strategies. In addition this position will explore new technologies that can improve logistics management, such as automation solutions.
Job Duties
Analyze and interpret data related to logistics operations. Prepare reports and present findings to management.
Develop and implement strategies that improve the efficiency of the supply chain
Manage transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
Identify cost-saving opportunities within the logistics chain
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics processes
Monitor inventory levels to ensure continuous availability of goods
Recommend and implement process improvements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field desired
3+ years of prior experience in transportation, warehouse or inventory management is essential
Qualifications
Deep understanding of logistics operations, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing
Ability to use statistical tools and software to identify trends and patterns
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
