Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect high-value partners, including custom home builders, interior designers, and architects throughout the Greater Houston market.
- Lead end-to-end sales engagements, including site walks, in-home consultations, and solution discovery.
- Develop and present tailored proposals for smart home solutions (A/V, lighting control, security, and automation) in collaboration with internal design teams.
- Manage the full sales pipeline within the CRM, maintaining meticulous records of every touchpoint to drive data-led outreach plans.
- Act as a technology brand ambassador at industry networking events and trade meetings.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through aggressive outbound activity and referral management.
Requirements
- Proven track record in a "hunter" sales role or business development capacity, with experience building a pipeline from zero.
- Demonstrated experience conducting on-site sales consultations and developing custom proposals.
- CRM discipline: You treat the CRM as your primary operating system for managing follow-ups and pipeline stages.
- Exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to sit at a kitchen table with a homeowner or walk a dusty job site with a builder.
- Self-directed work ethic with the ability to manage your own calendar and priorities without supervision.
- A passion for technology and a willingness to become an expert in smart home systems.
