We are a people-powered enterprise; our campaigns are effective because we hire diverse teams of talented people, invest in our staff, and treat them well.

The Position

To ensure success in our campaigns we need people who are experts in voter targeting and turf cutting to be the backbone of our ground operations. Turf Directors support the work of voter contact and voter registration campaigns by making sure we are reaching the right voters in the right areas every day we canvass. Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in the many features of VAN, PDI, and GSuite, along with a willingness to learn new mapping and database management systems. We are looking for people who are familiar with the demographic profile and walkability of the districts we’ll be working in, as well as a deep concern for canvasser health and safety. Responsibilities of the Turf Director will include turf packet preparation and cutting; crew and pair assignments; canvass results data analysis; data integrity monitoring; turf and precinct tracking; GOTV strategy.

If you are passionate about using data and local knowledge to advance progressive causes, join our team as a Turf Director.

The Turf Director helps manage canvassers and Team Leads and reports to the Lead Director. The Lead Director reports to the Project Director.

Please note we accept applications on a rolling basis and conclude our hiring process as soon as the role has been filled.
