We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Dispatcher to be the hub of our daily operations. This role is critical to keeping our drivers on the road, our customers informed, and our yard running smoothly. The right person thrives in a fast-moving environment, communicates clearly and professionally, and takes pride in making sure every delivery goes off without a hitch.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Scheduling

• Manage incoming customer orders and coordinate daily delivery schedules efficiently and accurately
• Dispatch drivers in a timely manner, adjusting routes and schedules as conditions change throughout the day
• Monitor delivery progress and proactively communicate updates to drivers and customers
• Troubleshoot logistical challenges, reroute drivers as needed, and resolve scheduling conflicts quickly
• Ensure all orders are fulfilled on time and that customers receive the service they expect

Driver & Fleet Coordination

• Support daily fleet operations, including driver assignments and vehicle readiness
• Monitor truck availability, track vehicle statuses, and communicate maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Ensure drivers have the information and resources needed to perform their routes effectively
• Assist in maintaining compliance with DOT and safety regulations across the fleet

Concrete Yard Operations

• Support daily operations of the concrete yard, including material management and inventory tracking to keep the yard stocked and organized
• Work closely with the operations team to align yard capacity with daily delivery demand

Customer Communication & Service

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, delivery status, and any issues that arise
• Communicate professionally and promptly to resolve concerns and maintain strong customer relationships
• Represent Made Easy Concrete with a friendly, service-first attitude in every interaction

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of customer orders, delivery schedules, and vehicle statuses
• Generate and review reports on operational efficiency and delivery performance
• Keep internal systems updated in real time throughout the day

Travel & Additional Support

• Occasional travel to the Athens location may be required for training or operational coordination

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, logistics, or operations — concrete, construction, or transportation industry preferred
• Experience with fleet management, telematics, or dispatch scheduling software
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, think quickly, and solve problems on the fly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus
• Brings a positive, team-first attitude and takes ownership of their role
