Summary

We are seeking reliable and motivated Summer Help to assist with general yard upkeep and painting projects at our facility. This role supports plant operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized exterior environment while completing painting and preservation tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Yard Work & Grounds Maintenance

• Perform general groundskeeping including mowing, trimming, weed removal, and debris cleanup
• Maintain cleanliness of plant yard, storage areas, and surrounding property

• Assist with organizing materials, equipment, and outdoor storage areas
• Apply paint and coatings to structures, piping, curbing, equipment, and buildings

General Labor Duties

• Participate in plant housekeeping and safety initiatives
• Follow all plant safety and environmental procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor and industrial environments
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and follow safety guidelines
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, humidity, etc.)
• Ability to pass Drug and Background Screening

Safety Requirements

• Must comply with all plant safety rules and procedures
• Required use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)
• Participation in safety training and hazard awareness programs

Work Schedule

• Seasonal (Summer) position (Now-Labor Day)
• Hours: (35 hours/week. Monday–Friday) Daytime Shift
• $18.00 / Hour

Work Environment

• Chemical manufacturing facility with outdoor and industrial work areas
