Symmetrio is recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator on behalf of an innovative startup medical device company experiencing exciting growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, highly organized marketing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to help build and support marketing operations within a growing organization.

The Marketing Coordinator will support a broad range of marketing activities including trade shows, event coordination, marketing communications, collateral development, project management, and day-to-day marketing operations. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited by the opportunity to wear multiple hats within a startup environment.

The position will work closely with leadership and internal stakeholders and requires someone who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong execution and organizational skills. This is an ON-SITE, in office position based in the San Diego Metro area. Compensation is $85,000 – $100,000 base salary, depending on experience. The role offers broad exposure across marketing functions and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and helping build processes within an entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • Approximately 5–10+ years of marketing, marcom, event coordination, or project management experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating trade shows, meetings, or events strongly preferred
  • General understanding of marketing fundamentals, marketing communications, and project coordination
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an onsite, team-oriented environment
  • Medical device or healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required
