About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Experience
Join Salesforce's IT Mergers and Acquisitions team in the US, where you'll define the infrastructure integration strategy that enables the company to scale acquisitions securely and at speed. In this Principal-level individual contributor role, you'll shape how enterprise technology — from collaboration and endpoint services to network, datacenter, and AI-driven automation — gets woven into Salesforce's global ecosystem, directly influencing the employee experience for every company we bring on board.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Own and continuously evolve the enterprise-wide M&A infrastructure integration strategy across acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic business transformations — defining scalable, repeatable integration models that compress time-to-integration while reducing operational risk across collaboration, endpoint, network, and datacenter domains.
- Design and maintain reference architectures, integration standards, migration patterns, and Day 1 / Day 30 / Day 90 integration frameworks that enable the organization to run multiple concurrent deals consistently and predictably.
- Serve as the senior technical lead and escalation point for high-risk, high-complexity integrations — driving architectural decisions that span security, user experience, operational scalability, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives including security remediation, collaboration platform migrations, endpoint modernization, datacenter exits, and enterprise service rationalization, ensuring each program delivers durable operational outcomes.
- Build and improve enterprise integration playbooks, tooling standards, automation frameworks, and observability capabilities that reduce manual effort, increase consistency across deals, and surface integration readiness in real time.
- Drive strong partnerships across Corporate Development, Security, Architecture, IT Product, Engineering and Operations, HR Technology, and Business teams to align integration priorities and execution models at scale.
- Mentor and guide Lead and Senior Infrastructure Engineers through architecture reviews, technical strategy discussions, and engineering best practices — and influence long-term enterprise infrastructure strategy through lessons learned, post-integration analysis, and AI and Agentforce-driven operational improvements.
You're Our Person If…
- You have 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure engineering, architecture, or large-scale systems integration, including 5+ years leading enterprise M&A integration initiatives or large-scale infrastructure transformation programs.
- You have deep expertise across one or more enterprise infrastructure domains — collaboration platforms, endpoint engineering and device management, network and datacenter infrastructure, enterprise productivity services, or office technology.
- You have a strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks including single sign-on, directory consolidation, conditional access, zero trust architecture, and endpoint compliance, and you've led migrations involving collaboration platforms, endpoint management systems, infrastructure modernization, or cloud transformation.
- You've designed scalable enterprise integration architectures and operational models across multiple business environments, with demonstrated experience building technical standards, playbooks, and scalable engineering processes that outlast any single project or deal.
- You have a strong command of operational resiliency, automation, observability, and infrastructure lifecycle management, and you bring the analytical and systems-thinking capabilities to lead cross-functional programs with significant organizational complexity.
- You communicate with clarity and confidence — translating technical strategy, risk, and tradeoffs for executive audiences and influencing decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
- A related technical degree required
Even Better If…
- You've operated in a high-volume acquisition environment with multiple concurrent integrations running simultaneously.
- You have hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as Okta, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Intune, Jamf, VMware, Cisco, or cloud infrastructure platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- You have experience with infrastructure automation, orchestration, or configuration management tooling, and you've leveraged AI, workflow automation, or agent-based systems — including Agentforce — to improve IT operations or accelerate integration processes.
- You're familiar with the regulatory, compliance, and security considerations that come with enterprise acquisitions, and you've contributed to enterprise technology strategy, operating model design, or transformation roadmaps.
