Payroll Accountant at IEH Laboratories & Consulting Group

Molecular Epidemiology, Inc. (MEI) is hiring for a Payroll Accountant position at its corporate headquarters in Seattle, WA.

- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (required)

- Knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, accounting practices (required)

- Experience in QuickBooks (preferred)

- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel

- Experience in payroll accounting and ADP (preferred)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Well-organized and detail-oriented

- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Able to work well with others

- Friendly, professional, reliable, presentable

Payroll Accountant job duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining and updating payroll information; preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, etc.; and other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - 58,000 annually. This is a full-time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) (with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met).
