Job Summary

The Senior Executive Advisor will serve as a strategic partner and trusted counsel to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MTE. This high-impact role is responsible for providing expert guidance on organizational strategy, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and industry best practices. The Senior Executive Advisor will work closely with the COO and executive leadership team to drive key initiatives, support decision-making, and ensure alignment with the cooperative’s purpose and mission to deliver its vision of world-class member service.

  • Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
  • Must have at least a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Engineering, Public Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in the electric utility industry, with a strong understanding of electric power supply arrangements.
  • Must have demonstrated experience advising senior executives and leading complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Must have a deep knowledge of utility industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Must have exceptional analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Must have a high degree of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment.
