EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Degree

One year related experience or training

CERTIFICATION

Valid Certification by the American Red Cross in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid

High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.

PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY

Assists the Director of Aquatics in the management, supervision, and daily operation of North East Independent School District (NEISD) aquatic facilities and programs. Responsible for coordinating aquatic events, supervising personnel, and ensuring operational logistics for swim competitions. Oversees competition technology, timing systems, and specialized software while maintaining compliance with UIL, TAPPS, and NEISD athletic procedures.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Serves as the Administrator on duty during aquatics competitions.

2. Collaborates with the Director of Aquatics to supervise staff, facility operations, programs, and events at all aquatic facilities.

3. Updates and maintains aquatic program websites, social media accounts, and digital message boards for North East Aquatics Team (NEAT).

4. Acts as the entry chairperson for all swimming and diving meet registrations.

5. Assists in managing and monitoring the NEAT operational budget.

6. Serves as the Competition Meet Director as required.

7. Responsible for all facility and maintenance work order system requests for all aquatic facilities.

8. Coordinates administrative responsibilities for NEISD aquatic competitions, including configuration and preparation of meet information documents.

9. Manages the setup, operation, troubleshooting and storage of competition technology and event equipment (e.g. timing systems, scoreboards, touchpads, and meet software). Ensures all systems meet safety standards and remain functional through routine maintenance and inventory control.

10. Assists the Director of Aquatics with coordinating rental proposals and bids.

11. Maintains confidentiality of information.

12. Reports to work on time every day.

13. Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
