We are actively searching for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) to join our team in our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. Our legal administrative assistants play a vital role on our case teams and are respected for their ideas and contributions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Your confidence and communication skills will help you develop strong professional relationships with our team.

Job Responsibilities: As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will work alongside attorneys and paralegals to ensure our clients receive best-in-class service.

Skills:

  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence
  • File documents in state and federal courts
  • Prepare binders for attorneys and judges
  • Create and save documents and emails to iManage (document management system) in accordance with firm policy
  • Experience with obtaining documents from online court directories
  • Schedule meetings and other calendar commitments
  • Calendaring legal due dates in CompuLaw
  • Make travel arrangements and process expense reports
  • Process client disbursements
  • Organize and maintain case files
  • Supporting overall Bowman and Brooke administrative needs by assisting team members where needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime when the need arises
  • Heavy computer use

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of legal experience required
  • Civil Litigation experience required
  • Knowledge of Michigan Court system required
  • Demonstrated employment stability
