Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Systems Conversion Specialist with strong expertise in both AFS (Automatic Financial Systems) and Loan IQ to support a critical system conversion initiative. This role will play a key part in the ongoing migration of commercial loan data from AFS to Loan IQ, ensuring accuracy, continuity, and efficiency throughout the process.

This position is a backfill for a dedicated contractor and will focus heavily on manual conversion efforts to support the broader transformation project. The engagement is expected to last approximately 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual conversion of loan files from AFS to Loan IQ, ensuring completeness and data integrity

• Work within both AFS and Loan IQ systems to validate and reconcile loan data throughout the conversion lifecycle

• Support ongoing AFS to Loan IQ migration efforts, ensuring continuity and meeting project timelines

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including loan operations, servicing teams, and project management

• Review loan documentation and ensure accurate system setup aligned with commercial lending practices

• Identify and escalate discrepancies, risks, or conversion issues in a timely manner

• Assist in developing and maintaining documentation related to conversion processes and procedures

• Provide subject matter expertise on AFS and Loan IQ functionality as it relates to loan lifecycle events

Qualifications

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Strong working knowledge of AFS and/or Loan IQ (experience with both highly preferred)

• Hands-on experience with commercial lending operations, particularly loan closing and booking

• Demonstrated experience performing data validation, reconciliation, and manual processing tasks

• High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

• Prior experience supporting loan system conversions or migrations

• Familiarity with syndicated loans or complex commercial lending structures

• Experience working in a banking or financial services environment
